Application Submission
This EMBO workshop is open for application submission now! Workshop applicants are requested to submit all the necessary information listed below. We especially encourage applications from Ph.D. students and early postdocs. Applications from experienced scientists will also be considered for acceptance. Experienced scientists are also accepted if space is available. Please read the following information carefully.
Application deadline: 30 April, 2021
In total, 78 applicants will be accepted to attend the EMBO workshop. In addition, 26 accepted applicants will be selected to deliver a short oral presentation. Applicant acceptance, as well as the presentation type of accepted applications (poster/oral), will be decided by workshop organisers in cooperation with several invited scientists. Eight workshop participants, chosen by this same process, will be given the opportunity to co-chair the scientific sessions. Potential workshop participants will be notified by email about the status of their application approximately three weeks after the application deadline.
The program, abstracts, and contact details from the workshop will be distributed online.
Important note:
The journal Nucleus (see https://www.tandfonline.com/action/journalInformation?show=aimsScope&journalCode=kncl20) will put together a special issue on the workshop, edited by Ivan Raška, Cristina Cardoso, Eva Bártová and Mikhail Eltsov. We will offer speakers and selected contributors to the workshop the opportunity to publish original research articles and reviews on the presented topics in this issue.

Information regarding personal data
Accepted applicants
The registration fees:
- Academic (Experienced Scientists) - 550 EUR
- Ph.D. students or Early Postdocs - 300 EUR (may be waived under special circumstances after the EMBO workshop according the possibilities of organisers).
- The cost for full board, lodging for five nights (from 29 August) in double rooms (either two women or two men), and the scheduled social events is included in the 300 EUR fee.
Payment details
- Together with the acceptance, participants will receive payment details by e-mail. Payment will be via bank transfer.
