Letter of Motivation

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Czech Society for Cell Biology, I would like to invite you to attend, and present your work at the 12th International Congress of Cell Biology . The congress, held under the auspices of the International Federation for Cell Biology, will take place on 21 - 25 July 2016 at the Prague Congress Center, Prague, Czech Republic.

The aim of the congress is to offer a unique opportunity for sharing views on the latest research findings and applications. Also, the congress provides an opportunity for professional development and establishing fruitful global and regional collaboration. Newly integrated into the congress program are the academic, scientific, and corporate project development day, the exchange and career fair for students, the industry training center, and new innovative congress technologies for delegates. More than 80 invited speakers will attend the congress and we expect more than 2000 participants. We hope that many young scientists, especially PhD. students and postdoctoral fellows, will attend the meeting and share their perspectives.

The congress title “Exploring Cellular Structure and Function” recognises the key role of cell biology in deeper understanding of the tissues and organisms made of the cells. We have done our best to compose a program in line with the theme.

Prague is a charming city situated in the very heart of Europe. It has a rich history, magnificent architecture, and a unique culture. The region of Prague is an important center of research with several universities and the majority of institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Please join us for the International Congress of Cell Biology 2016 in Prague.
